My stay at Niagara Inn Downtown was frankly disappointing. While the location was quite central to Niagara Falls, the conditions of the room and overall experience left a lot to be desired. I’ve had better motel experiences, and I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Rooms

The room was very old and gross. The air conditioner was ancient, and I found a chair covered in crumbs.

The front desk staff were incredibly rude, and it felt unsafe due to the rundown conditions.
Location

The breakfast was limited to just two boxes of cereal and bagels with fruit flies in the bag, which was off-putting.

The overall facilities were underwhelming, with issues like a non-functioning smoke detector.

My experience at Niagara Inn Downtown was quite disappointing. The location wasn't ideal, being far from true downtown attractions, and the condition of the room was unacceptable. On the plus side, the staff left us alone, which was actually preferred, but overall, I wouldn't recommend this place.

Rooms
5.0
The room had two different carpets. it smelled of burnt wood and bleach, and there were insects present. The sheets were used and dirty which was absolutely disgusting.
Service
5.0
While the service left us alone, which I preferred, the front desk staff was incredibly rude. It felt like they refused to acknowledge any issues.
Location
5.0
The location is a bit misleading. it's around a 10-minute taxi ride to downtown and the Falls, but it doesn't feel downtown at all. I felt uneasy with dubious long-term residents in the area.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was a poor experience. consisting of coffee and milk in a bag, warm orange juice, and bagels with fruit flies in the bag. Definitely not appetizing.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were lacking. not well maintained and did not feel safe, with smoke detectors not working and a strong odor of cigarettes throughout.

I had a frustrating experience at Niagara Inn Downtown. The service was friendly, but it felt unprofessional. and the cleanliness was concerning. The location is fairly close to the Falls, but it didn't feel safe, especially with long-term residents around. Overall, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Rooms

The rooms were decent, though a bit small. They felt dingy and dirty. the carpets were mismatched, and I was uncomfortable with how everything smelled.

While the front desk staff was friendly, I could tell they lacked experience. I felt ignored at times, like when one staff member locked herself in the office and left me waiting.

The location wasn't as downtown as I expected. It was about 10 minutes from the Falls, but I didn't feel safe with dubious long-term residents nearby.

My stay at Niagara Inn Downtown was really disappointing. The rooms were clean enough and a decent value if you just need somewhere to crash, but the overall experience was marred by the rude front desk staff and the uncomfortable atmosphere. Plus, I didn’t feel safe being around some of the long-term residents.

Rooms
6.0
The room was clean and served its purpose for sleeping and showering. However, it had a bit of a lingering cigarette smell that was unpleasant.
Service
5.0
Unfortunately, the front desk staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful, which really put a damper on my experience.

Though it’s labeled 'downtown,' it’s quite a distance from the actual downtown area and the Falls. I didn’t feel safe due to the presence of some long-term residents.
Dining

The breakfast options were extremely limited and not appetizing at all—warm orange juice and bagels with fruit flies in the bag? Yikes!
